Verb (ば-form) + それまでだ / Verb (たら-form) + それまでだ
Example Sentences
やめると言われればそれまでだが、続けてほしい。
If you say you'll quit, then that's it, but I want you to continue.
諦めたらそれまでだ。最後まで頑張ろう。
If you give up, it's all over. Let's keep trying until the end.
